Art Crawl y'all

The only bad  thing about taking part in our first ever Art Crawl was that we weren't able to stop at all of the studios on the tour ourselves! 

We did however get to stop in and say a quick hello at the art studio of the talented and lovely  Michelle Cuevas and spy the fantastic pottery items her guest Douglas Otteli had on offer. He has a new garden goddess series that won my heart but got snapped up pretty quickly. (Michelle has it on good word that he might make more of this series soon though.)

Vino Dipinte hosted his third annual nude show where Jonathan has entered his painting,"Waiting" into. There were lots of gorgeous pieces entered into the show including works by Lalani Pinard and Morgan Grasham. The nude show will be up for the rest of the month. Some of the artwork has sold but many pieces are still available.

We had a lot of people come by to see us and we got great feedback on Jonathan's new "Dali" painting and I actually sold a painting! This was doubly exciting for me because this was the first time I've sold a painting in our space. 

The buyer of Four Sisters said that something about the painting reminded her of Macbeth and she wanted it for her daughter who just got the lead in her school's play! 

Such a great night and I do hope we are able to have another Art Crawl in the not too distant future.:)
